Crookedhook on Warped Tour 2010...
Crookedhook will be playing Vans Warped Tour 2010 @ Arrow Hall in Mississauga. We are very glad to get the chance to play on the Kevin Says Stage. This would not have been possible without the support of Earnityourself.com and our fans. So, if you are coming to the Mississauga/Toronto Warped Tour be sure to swing by the Kevin Says Stage and check out all the awesome Punk bands that are playing. Off the top of my head I know The Snips, The Fatliners, Walk off the Earth and Crookedhook will all be on the same stage!! We will give you more info soon.

We just added some new shows. Check them out! Be sure to come out to the show on April 2nd and check out Uselss I.D. They are coming all the way from Israel! Crookedhook have been in the basement jamming out a bunch of new tunes lately. If you come out to one of our upcoming shows maybe you will get to hear one of them. This Saturday February 27th we are hitting up Peterborough for the first time @ Rawk Space!
2010 !
2010 is going to be an insane year for Crookedhook. We have really big plans for our next Album and we will be playing a lot of shows across Cananda. We have our first few shows of the new year posted on the right. Our show at Tomboo's in Newmarket is our buddy Taun's 30th Birthday and also our 9th time playing @ Tomboo's. Ports off Call are playing that show, who are ex members of P.M.S. Man we used to listen to that band a lot in High School! We are in T.O with our pals Walk Off The Earth, Staylefish and Hello Beautiful @ The Rivoli on February 5th. We would like to take a moment of silence to a handful of Sore Loser Records bands that decided to throw in the Punk Rock towel and call it quits. After the Invasion, The Nohawks and The Dirty 30's. Thanks for making some killer music!! I am sure we'll see some new projects coming up in no time.

Crookedhook Update ...
So, we recently have been on the search for a new label to help us along with our 2nd Full Length Album. So, this album will hopefully be released by a Canadian Label. We got our eyes on High4Records and a couple others at the moment. I guess we will just have to wait a bit longer and see which way this ship takes us. To anyone who has been inquiring, we have absolutely nothing to do with Sonic Unyon and Pink Skull Records. We got no problem with Pink Skull, they are great dudes! Sonic Unyon on the other hand, haha.
This year will have a lot in store for Crookedhook. We will have new songs if you check us out this summer, which I heard a couple other people say are the best songs ever written. Secondly, if you haven't already voted to get us on the Warped Tour in Toronto you should do it now!!

What the hell is Crookedhook doing in May and June?!
Well that is a great question. Well, we have been playing shows for the past couple years like crazy so some of us are going to take some time off to relax and unwind. We will also be writing a lot of material for our second full length album!! The second reason is we are preparing for our "Lord of the Strings" tour in July. We are going to lay low for the month of May and most of June, then we will be hitting up all of our favorite towns and cities on this Tour once more before we start our second album. So if you don't have our first CD and you consider yourself a punk, you should grab it at one of our shows. How's it going everyone! We just got a bunch of new shows posted. We are playing 2 West 49 Acoustic shows (1 in Mississauga at the Heartland Mall and 1 in Vaughan at Vaughan Mills.) They are free and all ages !! We just finished up some new songs that we will be playing at our upcoming shows. They are killer. We just played our last show of the year in Newmarket and we would like to say thanks to everyone that came out to that show or any other one we have played in 2007. Hey everyone, check our new website out courtesy of Richard. Also thanks to Johnny for helping with the site. We released our full length album titled "All We Got". It will be available in HMV and Music World upon request.

New and big things happening !!!
Crookedhook has been working really hard lately getting this Full Length Album called "All We Got" ready. It is being mixed and mastered by the Toronto ska guru himself, King Kong Girio (Mitch Girio). He has a great attitiude and he had quite a lot of input on the recorded songs. Definatley an honour to work with him. We had Sean-o and Duncan from the Permanent Bastards, Greg Baksi from True Trout, and J.D.M from the Dogs come along and do back up shouts with us for the album. Thanks a lot boyz!!
Secondly we have a new website by Richard, along with the video for "Love Tunnel". Some new merch is in the works as well, and we just got new stickers. Everything is falling together quite well at the moment for Crookedhook, we've been meeting a lot of really great people lately with encouraging word for us. Big things are going down, and we don't want to get our hopes too high, but in the meantime we will keep working hard at getting this album out and playing lots of shows. We would like to thank anyone who has checked our shows out this year and to all the bands we played with.
