Hello!! I am glad to inform you that Crookedhook has completed the brand new "Breathe Pollution" EP. It will be released on April 25th @ 102.1 The Edge in Toronto. Crookedhook Update ...
So, we recently have been on the search for a new label to help us along with our 2nd Full Length Album. So, this album will hopefully be released by a Canadian Label. We got our eyes on High4Records and a couple others at the moment. I guess we will just have to wait a bit longer and see which way this ship takes us. To anyone who has been inquiring, we have absolutely nothing to do with Sonic Unyon and Pink Skull Records. We got no problem with Pink Skull, they are great dudes! Sonic Unyon on the other hand, haha.
This year will have a lot in store for Crookedhook. We will have new songs if you check us out this summer, which I heard a couple other people say are the best songs ever written. Secondly, if you haven't already voted to get us on the Warped Tour in Toronto you should do it now!!

What the hell is Crookedhook doing in May and June?!
Well that is a great question. Well, we have been playing shows for the past couple years like crazy so some of us are going to take some time off to relax and unwind. We will also be writing a lot of material for our second full length album!! The second reason is we are preparing for our "Lord of the Strings" tour in July. We are going to lay low for the month of May and most of June, then we will be hitting up all of our favorite towns and cities on this Tour once more before we start our second album. So if you don't have our first CD and you consider yourself a punk, you should grab it at one of our shows. Also it can be purchased online through interpunk, iTunes, or any other major MP3 distributor. Hell, you can even get it off this website, along with some really cool T-shirts!! New shows, new songs for a new year...
How's it going everyone! We just got a bunch of new shows posted. We are playing 2 West 49 Acoustic shows (1 in Mississauga at the Heartland Mall and 1 in Vaughan at Vaughan Mills.) They are free and all ages !! We just finished up some new songs that we will be playing at our upcoming shows. They are killer. We just played our last show of the year in Newmarket and we would like to say thanks to everyone that came out to that show or any other one we have played in 2007. Hey everyone, check our new website out courtesy of Richard. Also thanks to Johnny for helping with the site. We released our full length album titled "All We Got". It will be available in HMV and Music World upon request.
The CD is available through Pink Skull Records and Sonic Unyon Distribution. We also recently got a bunch of new guy and girl t-shirts along with some stickers. We'd like to thank anyone who came out to the shows or gave us shows this year. Crookedhook will be coming to a city or town near you soon!
New and big things happening !!!
Crookedhook has been working really hard lately getting this Full Length Album called "All We Got" ready. It is being mixed and mastered by the Toronto ska guru himself, King Kong Girio (Mitch Girio). He has a great attitiude and he had quite a lot of input on the recorded songs. Definatley an honour to work with him. We had Sean-o and Duncan from the Permanent Bastards, Greg Baksi from True Trout, and J.D.M from the Dogs come along and do back up shouts with us for the album. Thanks a lot boyz!!
Secondly we have a new website by Richard, along with the video for "Love Tunnel". Some new merch is in the works as well, and we just got new stickers. Everything is falling together quite well at the moment for Crookedhook, we've been meeting a lot of really great people lately with encouraging word for us. Big things are going down, and we don't want to get our hopes too high, but in the meantime we will keep working hard at getting this album out and playing lots of shows. We would like to thank anyone who has checked our shows out this year and to all the bands we played with.
